The Microfleur is a wonderful way to dry your flowers.  Just place flowers in it.  Microwave for a few seconds and you have a perfectly dried flower that holds it's color.  I love to take mine on vacation so that I can preserve the beauty of different areas we travel to.

You only need a refill pack if you leave your microfleur in the microwave too long and burn the foam pad.  It is best to dry flowers in 10 - 15 second intervals, checking to see if they are dry in-between.

You can make wonderful greeting cards and invitations for special occasions using handmade paper and vellum envelopes.  Make a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 sheet of paper using either the medium set or the deckle divider in the large set.  Add inclusions of flower petals and leaves, flecks of paper, threads to match the color or iridescent flakes. The inclusions can be embedded or added to the surface.  Fold the paper you made.  Also fold a clear sheet of vellum cut just a bit smaller.  Print your invitation on the vellum with an ink color to match your card and envelope.  You can even have hand printed cards and then take them to a copy center and have them copied onto the vellum so that each one looks hand done without the work.  Put the folded clear vellum paper inside the handmade paper and tie with a ribbon, glue or sew onto the paper.  You could add further color with dried flowers or an image printed in color onto your vellum sheet.  We like to finish with a dried, pressed flower under our clear round stickers (on the envelope page) to seal the envelope closed.
